I swear, putting the feet on the wrong side/double feet is probably the most common mistake I see in otherwise really nice images. Since I have a hard time drawing feet and thus have to actually pay attention to them, I can't imagine actually making a mistake like that myself..

I swear, as soon as I finished reading your comment, a got up and ran over to my desk and took a look at the illustration I had just finished sketching, then started swearing when I had verified that my character had two left feet- Further support to your statement.
