Probably a reflex. Like, you would automatically tag cat ears for Chen right? Only you might find out 5 minutes later the artist didnt draw cat ears. But your so used to seeing it, your brain may have drawn the cat ears on your eyeballs.

Her ears are there they are just down, since she not being honest i guess. Look by her ribbons you will see there is a pink that is a different shade.
