Correction. Post-timeskip Sakura SHOULD be useful since she's got actual abilities now. But since she's a female in Naruto it doesn't matter how strong she is, she'll still always be useless.
And her personality sure hasn't improved, which is why so many people still hate her.

I still sort of like her though, pre-Shippuden that is..
I hate her, as well, but it's not even her intention to 'betray' Konoha just to blindly follow Sasuke (like Karin would). She tried it before when Sasuke originally left, but that's when she was just a dumb girl looking for some way to keep her crush at home and doing it in the most petty way possible.
It's because of her massive guilt complex for burdening Naruto and the rest with bringing Sasuke back that she decided to do this. Her self-sacrifice is still stupid and not well thought out, but she's certainly not an evil Machiavellian bitch like the fanbase would have you believe. Her intentions are good if nothing else.

That depends on alot of things still. At this point, its still a bit early to call anything other than speculation. And thats if Sakura really intends to save everyone or If she really has turned around for the worst.
