It had been weeks since Jon had a proper meal. The infinite stomach of Garfield was simply insatiable, leaving Jon panging with hunger late into the night. He quietly made his way to the kitchen and opened the refrigerator door. Immediately, light was cast upon a pulsating, twisted gut, coiled from floor to ceiling, writhing, shiny in the dark. Garfield woke. He peered over the refrigerator's edge with nocturnal eyes and unhinging his jaw in anticipation.
