It's not sourced from the artist or maybe artists in this case, but the official copyright website as you say.

I would've treated this as the primary source since this is a key visual that was posted on their official website and not off of a media outlet putting a presser on behalf of the production committee or the studio.

I cannot treat this different nor see how this is different from circles and brands posting official illustrations from commissioned or employed artists on their sites and accounts. You can dmail me or bring this up in the forum to see what others have to say though. I treat media outlets as third-party.
