Based on the tag used on Pixiv, as well as the commentary, and the fact that one engine isn't working, it's safe to say this artwork is based on Recon flight N42RF durring Hurricane Hugo in 1989.

I work as an aircraft mechanic, and I've gotten to see a few of these next to my hangar!
