The best part of this is that the male looks almost more girly than the female.

I usually play as the boy and I'm female. Most of the girl trainers (I'm looking at you Hikari) look like absolute skanks.

I play as the boy. For HGSS, I'd think his hat's easier to look down upon than the mushroom-top.

While I'd scream FUND IT to their face about this, kids would stop buying the games because there's no boy. Kids always play as the boy, and the smart gamers play as girls.

I've got it. There'd be the designated "male" and "female" trainers, but the "male" would be a reverse-trap, looking enough like a boy to fool unsuspecting 7-year-olds while still giving us what we want to see.
