1. Don't stitch together manga-mode images from Pixiv.
2. If you feel compelled to stitch together manga-mode images, don't introduce a bunch of JPEG artifacts.

I`ve combined manga images into one before and no one complained about it.

I think #2 of what Glasnost said has more importance right now. You could have either save this in either PNG or lower/rises (depending on what you used to do this) the quality to file size option if saving in JPEG.
