or better yet

the rival's gender depends on your own (I think it'd be best for female if you pick male and male if you pick female)

or they could pull a R&S

Or if you could choose if you want your rival to be male or female, kind of like P3P. Personally I wouldn't mind choosing the female one, but that's because I tend to like the female designs the most.

They need to make it to where you can design your player. Wouldn't be to awful tough for them.
