As Byakuren Hijiri was returning to the Myouren temple on her motorcycle / while Byakuren was doing some meditation on the steps of her temple, she was none the wiser to the ambush that was waiting for her. As soon as realized that something felt a bit off as she could sense some presence inside the Myouren temple, she was ambushed by some Taoist disciples led by Toyosatomimi no Miko from the Great Mausoleum. Byakuren fended herself off for quite a bit, but was ultimately overwhelmed as she was unprepared for a sneak attack from the rival temple. Byakuren recounted the strange events that happened to Nazrin, and realized that it must have been part of the Taoist’s shenanigans that led to that strange occurrence, and they finally decided to go for the head honcho. After the Taoists restrained the monk, they forced her to sit as if in a meditative position, and left her be so a disciple could eventually find her and free her. Byakuren sighed and looked downcast as she waited, since she should have expected the Taoists to pull something like this and being in this state, all she could do is wait and decide how she will discipline the unruly troublemakers as soon as she gets out.
