After my first time reading Yuuka ryouran, I started to think about true nature of Yuuka's power. This is my head-canon, I think It can explain the story if zounose thought the same. In general, you can find golden ratio in many aspects of nature, flower, animal, plan or even movement but they are not actual golden ratio but rough golden ratio and through research they created famous golden rectangle. Numerous artists applies it in their work so what they actually do is not replicating reality but creating a better version of it like Alice said and you might hear about it from your art teacher. Because the shape was simplified so they can't recreate real Yuuka for example earth from outer space look like a perfect sphere but we know it's not. The closest description of Yuuka's ability is fractal or mandelbrot, the closer it is, the more complicate it becomes, what make her strong is the rough and complicate part. I may call her ability with a name 'incomprehensible', an ability to make everything from simple form becoming complex one on their path of growing (too complex so it looks simple in people's eyes). That is the reason why Marisa's master spark will never reach Yuuka's true master spark which is not a simple burst of energy. I really like this idea, only a small different on micro scale can make infinity distance.

You raise a very interesting idea... however, my mind read "golden ratio" and now the only thing I understand is that I have to go America and kill the president after proving Mormonism to be true.
