Though the battle system is anything but Advance wars. In this game, you have at least some control over the battle. But it still does have the paper/rock/sisscors thing that Advance wars has.

Here is your translation, and the screenshots are plenty real. Nietzsche seems to be at a higher level than the Knight in the lower right corner anyhow, so it's not that strange.
