This is the only thing that makes sense, but if so why isn't the GL trigger part of the GL? You'd need a lot of parts on the inside to transfer the trigger pull inside the gun, in comparison to having it directly on the GL

I'm not so sure, the OTs-14 grenade launcher model has a selector switch that can actually change the trigger pull from the rifle to the grenade launcher and it's a very simple mechanism
