I wonder when the other factions will start getting crazy awesome sentient(?) riggings too. Eagle union has mechs, iron blood (and northern parliament?) has dragons(?)…

Maybe Sakura empire or vichiya domain will start getting some kind of giant bird rigging in the future, or maybe one of the factions will get dinosaur riggings but that might be way too crazy and far off💀

If you consider the Azur Lane anime as 'canon' then AKaga already has custom fox rigging...

Aww man, I wanted Alaska herself... Oh well, cool rigging tho. Cooler than a lot of Iron Blood riggings so its nice to see my favorite overall faction get some great competition.

Some people say this may be another Manchester's situation as there some small evidence that points out this may have been how Alaska would look like but Manjuu decided to change to Guam, because she has an hairpin with 3 stars which are a direct reference to the 3 battlestars Alaska obtained during her career, tho people say is just a random pin and her two star shaped eyes are the reference to the 2 battlestars that Guam got during service.

Personally the hairpin having 3 stars is way too on the nose to just be random. KC Iowa has starshaped pupils and she recieve more than 2 battlestars.(11 in total)

Iowa is also from a different game with an entirely different design philosophy designed by an artist who has never done work for Azur Lane.
