They did it again. Another episode I looked forward to and they use this shitty animations (even worse than the Naruto vs Sasuke fight in the first series imo -.- )
The animation in this episode stands in stark contrast with the rest of the series. It REALLY felt out of place, and kind of made the most serious fight yet just plain weird.
In animatrix and some other anime I've seen this type of animation, but this is ridiculous. I expected a badass fight episode and they gave us this crap. On top of that it doesn't even follow the manga. The chibuku tensei, bansho tenin and shinra tensei are all wrong in terms of how they are portrayed.

I think he meant that the animation is fine, but the art style they used is different. Normally, the art style they use isn't jelly-like and they draw each frame keeping the people in the right proportions etc
The art style used in this episode is like that of amateur artists - you can find this style of animated art in flash animations in newgrounds.
Doesn't change the fact that this episode sucked donkey balls.
Though the Kyuubi-Pain Whack-A-Mole was kinda funny lol

the animation was terrible... the art style had nothing to do with it. The flow of the animation, the timing, everything, it was just bad.
