I think the artist is Nako, but that is going off the art style.

Likewise. These things are so cute! Why would anyone hurt them?

Because they assume they are the lowest creatures even lower than animals (no rights), and deserve the most cruel torture before they die... Generally they are the 'perfect' stress relieve for these people.

You two just reminded me of three people who'd do just that, among others, based on my ventures into the OYP - SUN (whose comments are either hilarious or disturbing), Tea (who, months ago, uploaded yukkuri guro and caused a lot of drama), and Hamatek (oh God, even when the OYP has already issued a notice against non-violent comments on violent pics and vice versa, he's still at it [and has even brought his "crusade" here in Danbooru!])
And speaking of violence, yeah, I believe this is the very picture which was subjected to a violent edit, which caused Nako to shut down his/her Pixiv account and stop drawing.

Really? Those bastards. I do honestly think Yukkuri haters are serial killers in the making, just look at how many actual ones tortured small animals as a kid.

Well, unless the link on nako's tag is different, he's uploaded something around ten days ago.

I don't think it's the same artist. You should also be able to notice the artistic differences between the Nako who did lots of Sailor Moon and the occasional Touhou (such as post #576633) and the Nako who did yukkuris (this one's from the OYP, as it depicts the real Reimu).

Didn't you realize? This is the new age of sociopathic entertainment for insecure, spiteful children. Their kind used to torture animals in the past (kittens, puppies, little birds, technically everything that was harmless, cute and able to visibly and audibly react to pain). The whole Yukkuri thing is new, and it's the embodiment of their ideal - sentient, cute beings with human emotions, able to feel pain and cry, clumsy and virtually defenseless, easy to breed and torture both physically and psychically. No guts and gore, just bean paste. No retribution for the torture, nobody cares about the "manjuu". It's like a dream: even the biggest coward and mommy's boy can be "fucking hardcore" online, watching "anon" induce pain for no reason, feeling superior for a little while and talking big on the internet. Burning cats with gasoline is messy, disciplinable, smells like shit and you need at least a little bit of guts, a cat and some free space. Burning impaled yukkuri babies in front of their tied mother is easier than picking your nose - it's imaginary.

I quite hate yukkuri's to be frank. Low-intelligence, creepy, gluttonous, rude and requiring tons of patience. Everything I hate put into one. But when it comes to yukkuri torturers, I absolutely loath them beyond most things.

Surely some teasing would be nice. I'd admit even yukkuri's (or any other chibi and cute characters for that matter) are incredibly cute when they find themselves in trouble and confused. But when it crosses the boundaries of allowance as a human being, it becomes a completely different story.

Sick as hell. Chaykon described it quite well up there. I've read several attempts by yukkuri torturers till now. And despite me disliking yukkuri's, to every single self-justification I thought "Fucking bullshit" and cursed.

You are aware that artists/writers typically make Yukkuris that way so that they have a (flimsily justified) reason to do the things they do to them, right? Unlike their canon counterparts, Yukkuris practically have a clean slate for said-artists/writers.

Hmm? I was under the impression that yukkuri's being gluttonous and being a test of patience was something acknowledged not only by torturers but most yukkuri fandom.

Well, okay, I searched the web a bit. You're right. Then that's all the more of a reason for me to loath yukkuri tortureres. Thanks for enlightening. Though I still don't like yukkuri's much. Too human-like.

As Yukkuris are entirely fan made, people can make them whatever they want them to be like. Most people prefer making them gluttonous, selfish, and enjoy invading other people's properties, and all these are done just so that anons can find a reason to torture them.

Of course, there are also people who choose to portray Yukkuris as cute and playful beings. If I want to, I can also portray Yukkuris as being super intelligent, have the power to use danmaku, and fight very well in close range combat, but is at the same time very nice and like to help people in need.

Well actually most Yukkuris (even the more family friendly pics) could be considered "gluttonous" if you stretch the term out some, since most of them do have a blobbish look. But yeah, many artists (namely the ones with their work already on Danbo) typically ignore the more commonly used characteristics of Yukkuris; opting to either make them a form of censoring, a friendly creature, or a miscellaneous object that can be seen as a bonus.

Yes, I've taken some interest in yukkuri and searched the web and Danbooru a bit. Gotta say, some yukkuri indeed are cute when drawn to my likings. Heh heh heh.

Been to OYP too. I see what Anelaid meant.

I honestly read this entire comic thinking "What's the catch? What are they going do to the yukkurri this time?"but I was pleasantly surprised when it was just a cute comic featuring a yukkurri their unknown owner, no guro not even a bit of teasing.
