I'm being serious when I ask this. Do these people who generate pictures even bother to pay attention to obvious mistakes like these?

I imagine most lack the ability to correct the image, so overlooking the mistakes is because any effort on their part to fix it would just make it worse and they're not going to take another roll of the AI dice in hopes of getting one with fewer issues.

When it was brought up this was AI, I figured this was a situation where it made some sense of wanting the speed to generate something that was relevant to the issue going on. Even if one has artistic talent it'd still take a bit of time to make something beyond a sketch for the topic which may result in the image losing it's relevance by the time of its completion (depending on the subject matter at hand and speed of the situation changing). This image was born to live in this moment with what is going on and to join in on the larger conversation going on, and it joins into a sea of photo edits, gifs, and various other meme-ified art and images. In that context there is nothing wrong with it imho. I imagine what complaints there are stems from not being clearer that it's AI.

Like seriously what is that thing on top of it? Some kind of optic? If so, why is it completely flat??? Also there's that pixel soup behind it, and the mag looks like it's trying to be both a STANAG and an AK mag at the same time?????
