Shiki is a quiet individual, often withdrawn from other people due to the environment he grew up in. As a young child, he couldn't separate living, dead, and supernatural so he chose to keep to himself so as to not attract attention. Even as he grew accustomed to his affinity to the supernatural, he still prefers to keep to himself to not bring any danger to others. Trying to interact with Shiki, he may come off as awkward, often grouchy and hot-headed, and extremely uptight. Despite that, Shiki wishes to be understood and longs for the warmth of another living person.
