    remember seeing that somewhere, but Yea, its having the picture database to Make up the larger image Smoothly
    give this about a 9/10 in that department
    a 11/10 for the sheer SIZE of this thing
    and a bigfuckinghuge Gold-Star For the number of images it took to make this

    On a side note, how many artists or characters do you see? I see Depth Bomb on the top left of CthulZUN's head, that guy from the Today's Word pool, creepy Rumia at the top line...

    Cool. Though unnecessary, you can infer how much work has Zun done from this picture.

    Has anyone checked the details tab in the picture properties? In fact, there are 3600 small pictures based on the grid, with some of them cropped to fit the aspect ratio.

    Zun is ugly, I think.

    What a pity ...
    What a pity for me not to see this masterpiece of pure awesomeness and epicness sooner
    Also, not just before this had we relized that Touhou'd become a big part of the culture on the Internet, but seeing this made me become more and more wonder : How can something that simple can be that inspirational to that many people worldwide.

    junk or no junk...there was most definitely a lot of effort put into this seems as there are most probably over 5000 photos that have been hand-picked, placed & shaded according to the creator's wishes in order for it to look the way it does from a much broader view...this obviously took a lot of time & patience to create...and you just absentmindedly call it junk simply because it mediocre, stereotypical, and/or an unoriginal show of creativity...respect the creator and his efforts and approve this post...it deserves it.

    That's just false, though. There's software that do things like this with as little as effort as pointing to a folder and selecting a "target" picture. The software then does all the picking and assembling to get as close as possible to the target.
