Maybe, since out of all 4 Snake was the only one to meet them all with the whole them dieing shortly after. (Except Solidus he did die but not cause of Snake)

But why is Big Boss so young in this pic? He's the one missing his right eye, Solidus lost his left one.

Big Boss was definately young in Metal Gear Solid 3. It's like pointing out how young Solid Snake looks in this. He's aged as hell in MGS4.
