In my fan version of canon events, Ui got in a horrible accident and her feet and eyes are actually highly developed myoelectric prostheses (the eyes are experimental prototypes of Inaho's eyes from Aldnoah Zero). She's actually a non-identical twin of Yui and they only difference are their breast sizes (Ui's are bigger). She had to spend months in rehab and had to repeat a class because of that.
