Lil backstory

This is the updated version of my Manta class battleship that I made for the eve-online starship contest.
As the mesh was good, I decided to update it to a more nastyer Devilfish class subcapital assault ship.

This scene is from the trials. Apparently the engines were used to heat plasma for the capital hybrid turrets seen in the background, theoretically increasing the the damage and decreasing the reload time of the weapons. For some reason however the primary catalyst on the number 4 engine exploded and the plasma is burning out to space.

First reports show 3 casualties, all technicians stationed around the catalyst control center. Two scientists are hospitalized with 3rd degree plasma burns and 11 misc. staff are going trough checkups due to concussions and light burns.

The metal frame, holding the main armorplating however is heating up and could lead heat to the 3rd engine, which is being shut down and purged.
