Damn awesome intro, and Gallantmon appearing was the best part.

Yeah he was. The only Virus-Type in the Royal Knights. Which is proof of what a badass he is.

Technically Gallantmon is a Virus, but the Crimson Mode seals his Viral Nature Entirelly, empowering him as a Vaccine.
Still, none of this changes the simple fact that he's an utter badass.

Gallantmon, the next badass in Digimon after Wargreymon and Omegamon.

Don't bring Etemon in here, he's in another category.

For what it's worth both Dukemon and Crimson Mode are listed as Virus Types usually but there were cards from the various card games where he is depicted as a Vaccine type. Similarly the Hybrids despite everywhere else being variable type were given a Virus/Data/Vaccine listing in some cards.
