You poor bastards. You guys really missed out. These days, every playground Toy that was deemed "Un-safe" has been taken down. Which is practically 80% of the playground stuff.

You know, I think I remember back when I was in Elementary School, there was this tire, thing. Kinda looked like it might of been modeled after a Chinese dragon. That was pretty fun to play on, but I think like, a year or two after it was made it was made off-limits. Kinda shitty, and I can imagine it'd be the same for things like this too.

That sucks, around my area, all the elementary schools and Middle schools Banned Dodge ball.....and then the worst thing happened. My high school banned Dodge ball........Seroiusly, the coaches never forced anyone who didnt want to play to play it. But it was banned still. I'm just a Skinny geek, but damn, did i love dodge ball. We played this variant of it called "Push-up Dodgeball". If you get hit, you have to run into the center and do 10 pushups. People can wail on you while you do push-ups. Man I got sucked into the middle so many times, good times.

Haha, I got a bloody nose and my glasses broke while playing it. And i think i held the school record for most beatings in the push-up center. I think it was like "95 hits" while doing 40 push-ups. I really had to rely on my team-mates to get me the hell outa there.
IMO, getting hurt builds character. While i diffenetly don't advocate parent abuse and such, but kids getting hurt due to their own problems tells them not to be such a dumb-ass. I got hurt alot as a kid, and even though i grew to be such an Otaku, i could still throw down with the rest of the more bulkier guys during Gym class. I really dont like this new "Safe" generation.
