I considered the picture upload-worthy because it expresses the characters' friendship so nicely. It's encouraging to see two people with such different attitudes (gentle and nurturing vs. tough and challenging) appreciate each other like this. An artist may find that their clumsy old doodles are more emotionally charged than he or she ever intended them to be.

Somehow, I doubt that's Etna and Flonne. They only have similar clothes, but nothing more. Aside from that, could you upload your pics, dandan?

I can't answer for Dan, but the image I downloaded from deviantART three years ago is named "050407_etna_y_flonne_again_by_dan_heron". The girl at right also has Etna's slit_pupils, pointy_ears and demon_tail. As for their wings, they may have been forgotten or simply omitted (like their feet).

When I was uploading the image, I went to http://danheron.deviantart.com/, found something entirely different and assumed that Dan had rebooted his account. This time I went to http://dan-heron.deviantart.com/ and quickly found the above. (Unfortunately, many things there seem to be watermarked to the Netherworld and back. Why can't we have good things, Dan?)
