Quite so, however I'm wondering the translation is gonna be put across since I have no idea what this monster really is other than as someone stated "something from FF"

For once, this isn't a 'Game popularized legend, thus people think legend originated from game' sorta deal. Refreshing.

Didn't Lovecraft come up with the idea of fish people before that? The mind flayers are based off of his depiction of Cthulhu after all.

They are more resemblant of fish people than of water dragons. They are somewhat like a hybrid of shark and human, at least, in D&D canon, since they were created by the shark god Sekolah there. I guess that, in this setting, they would instead serve Poseidon, which was mentioned in other profiles to be the lord of all sea monsters.

Kuudere. Definitely kuudere. The Lizardman is a good tsundere example. Or that blonde centaur from the "My Life WIth Monstergirl" series.

Astarte is the name of a goddess so old that her name appears in some form in a lot of popular mythologies, and all as a goddess of completely different aspects, but she's generally associated with the Canaanites, where I'm pretty sure that she's fertility and war goddess.

Habitat: Lakes, Swamps, near the water's edge Behaviour: Emotionless, Honest Food: Meat, fish, wild animals, etc. A type of mamono that lives near lakes, swamps, and freshwater bodies of water in general. Said to be "Half fish-people", they use their limbs to move about freely in the water, and are known to be underwater hunters. Normally sporting a stoic expression like a fish would, they do not speak often if at all; hence making it difficult to understand what they are thinking. When they see a human male approach the waterside, the Sahuagin approaches him noiselessly from within the water. Once in range they quickly propel themselves out of the water and force themselves onto the man. The Sahuagin's behavior during intercourse is a stark contrast from its usually sterile self, and is a rather intense affair. From this, one could say that the usually emotionless Sahuagin shows emotion during love-making. In place of gifts or thanks the Sahuagin mainly communicates through skinship and body contact, communicating its love by forcibly making love with the male of her interests. Although normally unseen, the Sahuagin wears an expression of ecstasy during intercourse, and is known to engage in physical contact with her lips to communicate her love. In a sense, even though the Sahuaginn says nothing most of the time, her physical actions help to communicate her intent. While a Sahuagin may appear emotionless and sterile on the outside, her exterior belies an emotional and loving personality. It is also worth noting that the Sahuagin displays emotion only during intercourse, and is sometimes known to speak to her love interest, although this is often punctuated by moans and other vocal expressions of pleasure.
