Wouldn't you say thats pretty average for any show though? Either 1 volume if its manga or about 5-10 Episodes for Anime for the plot to be established since characters do need to be introduced. Even longer if we're talkin about the basic Shounen Genre.

I liked Pulp Addiction more, but I have to admit this episode was pretty fucking awesome.

but remember that this anime is just ONE season long, in other words only 12 or 13 episodes(or ~25 mini-episodes)
episode 3-5 weren't really needed
1a was for introduction
2a for briefs introduction
and ep6 for the devil girls

What's awesome about this is that Gainax made the anime for FLCL.

At last, an awesome episode since episode 2. I hope the rest of the episodes will be as awesome as the 6th one. Demon sisters ftw!

kneesocks friggin KILLS me. the red skin, the one horn, the glasses. god. everytime Gainax comes up w/ some insane new hotness.
