This Suika doesn't seem anything like the usual unstoppable oni deva we know.

I hope Youmu's impending badass battle scene makes up for this fail version Suika.

I'm probably wrong on this, but Suika might not be going all-out because the fight might technically fall under the sanctions of the spellcard rules.

Otherwise I think Mr. Nose would need some powerful protections to counteract her density-altering powers.

That top right panel reminds me of all the pan shots in anime that take place in space.
All of a sudden the quiet broken by lasers and explosions that repeat over and over and over in the exact same directions and places.

Also, didn't Suika just spend a lot of her energy reassembling the doohickey for the flying whatsit? I can imagine she wouldn't be able to put her all into a fight after something that taxing.

Possibly correct, but I don't think so. That was in Hakugyokuruo. I don't think the Sage Youkai really have any say in what goes on in the land of the dead. Plain and simple. After all, they can't go there without dying... And somehow, I doubt Dat Nose cares about the Sage Youkai. Iirc, he's not from Gensokyo...

Increase in size and kill them all with the foot. But that obviously means no moar badass time for Youmu so she'll have to be a little helpless here

It seems that Suika is complaining about Youmu's negative thoughts because she regretted she couldn't handle it alone in spite of even Suika can't. So, Suika's saying "she thinks things way too serious" in the 3rd panel, I think.

No, the rules even apply to the Netherworld. The 7th game wouldn't be possible otherwise. And since Yuyuko and Yukari are considered to be sage youkai, they have do have a say even there.

Even if he wasn't from Gensokyo which I doubt, he stepped into it and won't get away anymore. At least not without loosing all which doesn't exist in the real world, his powers for example.
Well, I would care if the most powerful individuals of Gensokyo were after my head.

Suika's hardly unstoppable in the first place (or the IaMP incident would have gone unresolved). There was an interview by Aya where it was revealed that Suika supposedly destroyed the moon, but I have to call BS on that. For one, she's never again demonstrated such power ever again or before, second, its Aya we are talking about, and third, the Lunarians who weren't killed by such a thing would have come and slaughtered her or even as much of Gensokyo as they could in retaliation. Like a lot of Touhou characters she gets overhyped. Nevermind that this is a fanwork to begin with.

Firstly, her gathering/density power may work on living things but its not as fast as when she uses it on inanimate matter (she couldn't suddenly pull everyone in Gensokyo to one spot for a huge party, which was her original goal). You forget she had to create that mist to get people all over Gensokyo to gather together for parties in the first place (and they weren't even all gathered in one spot).

Secondly, even if you played as Suika in IaMP and won the game, her 'gathering' mist on the people fell apart because her control over her gathering/density powers was too immature/unstable (she has to concentrate to keep it up for any appreciable time as with her gathering the stuff needed for the temple-ship to fly).

Thirdly, its specifically the power of gathering things/density manipulation; she just so happens to be capable of dispersing herself into mist, but dispersing the things she has gathered or simply dispersing things that have gathered on their own (such as the summoned sin-sacks)is not a canonically specified aspect of her power (though some doujin/fanworks portray it as such) unless I missed something somewhere. She may not even be capable of scattering them.

As for black holes and gathering enough debris to make a mountain, one, the sin-sacks explode so she's not catching too many at once, two, she's being attacked from all angles to disrupt her concentration (spell break, anyone), and three, you'd think destroying the landscape by ripping up enough dirt to make her own mountains (or moving existing mountains) would not only eat up a huge chunk of her power and concentration, but would also piss certain people off (assuming nobody was standing on the rocks and earth she moved and was outright killed).

The simple fact of the matter is, she's too slow (or rather, her gathering/density power is too slow-working) to pull any of what you suggested off while she's being hit form literally every conceivable angle! That's why Youmu is needed here. In her hax ghost mode she can not only phase through certain attacks, she's also blindingly fast.
