That's if Zhu Yuan is still on the force by this point. Something tells me Bringer is gonna do something that makes her turn in her badge in an "I'll have no part in this!" moment, or that she'll be declared rogue when she tries to do the right thing.
My thought is this: Bringer is discovered to be working with "Sarah" and tries to order Zhu Yuan to drop the issue regarding the Sacrifice and stay out of things. Knowing that what "Sarah" is up to will endanger New Eridu, Zhu Yuan plans to blow the whistle on Bringer. Bringer doesn't have the guts to stop her, but "Sarah" isn't about to let Zhu Yuan live. "Sarah's" attempt on Zhu Yuan's life fails, so she forces Bringer to publicly denounce Zhu Yuan as having gone rogue. Now a wanted criminal, Zhu Yuan turns to Phaethon for help.
