Oh man, I feel nostalgic all the sudden.

I might have messed up some of the terms, so go ahead and reword them for those MTG players out there.

Usual format is uncoloured mana first then coloured mana (i.e. 2 BB) but that's a minor gripe. Also, there's no mana cost for regeneration but that's an issue with the original text. Apart from that, I lol'd at the Pegasus mindreading joke. "It's just a children's card game" after all, heh.

Even if the regeneration did have a cost, holy hell is that card overpowered. A 10/1 for four would be ridiculous enough, but no, it's got first strike and regenerate.
You can't even Doom Blade it.

However, each time it regerates, it comes back tapped so it can't be used again on that turn. More to the point, the card feels more like red or BlackRed then black, and again the cost....

So I guess Yuugi is a Timmy and Satori is a Spike. I wonder what Moko-tan and Nitori are.

Nope, regenerate prevents destruction, it doesn't put it back on the battlefield.

No. Other card games may be children's games, and Magic may be playable by children, but Magic the gathering was created by Richard Garfield as a game playable by nerds waiting in line at conventions. Not kids, but us! Nerds! Play your deck with pride! For it is yours!
    [/Melodramatic speech with wild gesticulating]

    But, yeah, MTG isn't a kid's game. /nerd rage

[geek]Incorrect. Prior to 6th edition, this may have been the case. But all activated abilities that do not have the Tap symbol can be played as long as you can continue to pay the costs, regardless of if they are tapped or not.[/geek]

Considering your post is 2 months old, you're pretty far out of the loop on that.

I'm guessing it makes you lose life equal to the number of cards discarded on that turn

It isn't. Phyrexian Dreadnought is a 12/12 trampler for (1) which has a more strict sacrifice cost (sacrifice creatures with power 12 total)...but you can sneak it into play by countering its triggered ability with a card like Stifle. For a less extreme example, Ball Lightning is a 6/1 haste trampler for RRR which dies at the end of the turn (well, unless you bounce it). Other more situational cards can be much more powerful than either, for example Slag Fiend, with a mana cost of R and P/T equal to the number of artifact cards in all graveyards, which can be ridiculous especially in multiplayer. And if you want to get a real sick creature (again, especially in multiplayer), Lord of Extinction costs 3BG and has P/T equal to the number of cards in all graveyards. Yes, that includes EVERY SINGLE CARD.

The one toughness makes it die to any amount of damage, and since it doesn't trample you can just chump block it until you get something to kill it with.

Then, I activate the activated ability of "Curse of Bunbunmaru". Your remaining life is zero.
Next, I use "Settings Reset". Please discard your hand including the returned card.

I sacrifice "Human Magician" and summon "Revered God of the Lake"!
    It's just a children's game.
    Cheer up.
Revered God of the Lake BB② - First strike - Regenerate When this enters the battlefield, sacrifice a creature. 10/1 Despite the Yu-gi-oh catchphrase, these are Magic: The Gathering mechanics.
