Oh and to put perspective on the importance of this. Sakuya's knives can't pierce Tenshi's skin. They bounce harmlessly off Tenshi's skin. Chen was able to wound that defense.

An explanation is in order, otherwise it's all fanon.

Tenshi's scenario from SWR. Sakuya, herself, says her knives cannot pierce Tenshi's skin. All of SWR's scenarios are canon.

Oh, that. That's just the author doing something. It's probably highlighting what may or may not be a revearsal of the match. I don't think I meant anymore than that. That is definitely up for debate.

I'm just happy the author remembered Tenshi's super defense, since it's a slightly neglected trait of Tenshi's.

Tenshi's blood is also harmful to youkai, by the way.

Tenshi's Super Freaking Armor is not forgotten, it's actually the most popular if you ask me. And people who don't know that fact about Tenshi are those people who don't play SWR.

Celestials body is poison to a Youkai might be forgotten since not many of us know that fact.

I think in canon Chen isn't such a nice loving cat either. She's actually very aggressive and kind of powerful.

Powered by Ran and Yukari? As their shingami, she's expected to be as powerful as them, atleast eventually. i said it before, Chen is not to be underestimated.

Actually, at that point, Ran was *way* past the point of being able to anything but (barely) stand upright. That was all Chen's determination to protect her Master.
