*facepalm* Seriously, what did you think whenever you heard the name deviantArt? It's not 'American art' exclusive site. There are tons of anime themed art there, with varying degrees of quality. In fact, people are complaining that there are too many anime art on dA.
@kunangkuadrat When I think of deviantArt I think of one of the shitholes of the internet full of obese, insecure teenagers that have an unhealthy obsession of drawing awful fanart and writing awful fanfics about their favorite generic animu characters. That isn't to say there isn't good stuff there, it's just buried. Deep.
Well, that's excluding all those program skins, brushes, templates, etc. Those are generally pretty good, but not the straight up art and literature. I'm actually surprised there's some argument over this.

Completely agree with you. What's worst is when they port that bullshit to pixiv. Not to mention when those shitty (mostly) americans draw immensely fat versions of anime/video game characters, which is just pathetic. Or those stupid naruto fan fics.
Or maybe, just maybe, we could judge the quality of the picture by itself, not which site it's hosted on or what sort of lazy stereotypes any body with an IQ over 0 can come up with.
I realize this is a seemingly radical, even ludicrous concept to some of you, but believe me when I say that not only is it possible, but it makes you look less like an ass and can easily improve the quality of your life!
