Epic Mickey was revealed to be getting a remake for the Switch, and DUDE I’M SO EXCITED
Epic Mickey was such an influential franchise to me, as it was one of the first fandoms I ever got to be a part of. It’s what introduced me to Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, and a lot of other interesting aspects of old Disney animation (shout out to gremlins, I love those silly guys). The story of epic Mickey also scratched my brain back then, it still does. I’m so happy a new generation of people can experience this game, and I hope a lot of the charm it had (animated cutscenes and the special reels) are kept in this remaster.
The two other slides are older pieces of mine made when I was invested in the fandom. Funny how my last big piece for it was just a little over 10 years ago today.
With my revived joy for this franchise, I’ll most likely make more art with the characters from this game. Either Oswald, or a particular gremlin that shows face in the second game. Who knows who knows 👉👈
