While there is some truth in those words, I would much rather compare the reading of a psychological sex story to a real-life experience with someone you do not know so well yet (but would like to). You do not know what to expect, and you cannot concentrate merely on enjoying the pleasure of it, because much of your energy goes into observing the situation. But afterwards it might turn out to be one of the most stimulating memories of your life. Or it might not.

In either case, it is more interesting than plain "Ahn! More! I'm gonna cum!"
