Perhaps it has something to do with their common depictions (so the OYP tells us) as utterly childish to the point of moeblobbing, intellectually challenged (to say the least), arrogant and selfish, among others. Not to mention that they're commonly depicted as nothing but animated manjuu. Then again, that highly depends on the artist. Here in Danbooru, yukkuri depictions are mostly limited to being novelty censors, bonus appearances, and other whatnot, not to mention that their quality is at least passable.
Dunno why people would hate Yukkuri's. I think they're cute. Then again I'm relatively new to the whole Touhou meme machine so maybe there's some history that I'm not aware of.

They're red bean cakes that can move and "talk" (originally they only said "Yukkuri shiteitte ne", a la Pokemon).
Next post about whatever the fuck OYP is, or the morality of yukkuri abuse, or anything else completely irrelevant to danbooru gets a ban.
Argue about other sites at those sites, not here. I just wasted way too much time reading through this.
Discuss the image itself, if you must, but do not discuss the community, other sites (e.g. OYP), or any sort of morality on the subject. If you want to do that, find another site.
I thought the discussions were going civil enough, without anyone raising their voices, though they did talk about some communities. But you're right. It's definitely going to cross the line sooner or later.
Well, at any rate the source of the argument must be removed.
