In terms of strength Kaguya, Mokou, and Eirin are all pretty much bottom tier.

I don't think so. It was early match so yhings didn't had time to go crazy (okuu vs byakuren type crazy). And Mokou actually trained before championship.

She didn't ask for anything though. All she did was save her life and treat her kindly. While it may be true she had a motive for doing so, that's not quite the same as being underhanded.

Someone needs to be. She's dead right. Faces don't draw as well as heels do - the matches will be more interesting if the crowd is given someone to actively root against.

3.Judgement team gets kicked around a bit
4.Some plot twist
5.Mokou loses pathetically

I think Shikieiki's forgetting about the Reisen/Youmu combo: those guys are pretty definitely heels.

Then again, they're also portrayed as being losers.

Pretty much. Since Kaguya wants to be seen as "good guys", Eiki's going to make them earn it with their bodies, one bruise at a time.

Because they're villains doesn't make them evil, so Judgement Team is playing the part to the hilt. Not to mention it is fun to cut loose once in a while.

They're also no longer in the tournament and thus have no bearing on Eiki's comment.

They also played dirty due to how overwhelming Reimu and Remilia are as we all saw when those two got serious at which point things ended FAST.

Actually, if we use the logic of POFV, the more weighed down with sin a person is, the stronger Eiki becomes (if I understand this right). This is the root of Shiki's criticism of Yuuka in that Yuuka has lived for too long and built up too many sins.

Given how Kaguya is, Shiki is probably endowed with the strength to shatter the universe.

Rather than Kaguya, Shiki's interest is in making the tournament live up to it's potentional. So she's going to play the bad guy in order for that to happen.

Given that Shiki seems to be an utter fangirl of the series this is a parody of, it's not surprising that she noticed the lack of actual villains. So, since Kaguya has sucked up to the fans too much to be one, why not make herself one? As long as it follows the template of the original series, I'm sure she won't mind the booing.
