Does it really bother you that much that an artist decides to portray a character potentially giving Yuugi a fight? Especially when both characters are Touhou girls, a series that has a ton of fan interpretation for everyone?

Oh my? Are you still going on about that? You shouldn't really let it get to you at all. I mean, they're both 3rd stage midbosses so we can't truly say we know who'll win in a fight? Just because artist makes Yuugi vs Meiling pics (which I still want a doujin of it and won't care who'll win) doesn't mean Yuugi is "getting weaker and weaker"

But, because you mention...I would now like to see a badass Dai-chan vs Yuugi for the hell of it.

I am not saying your opinion isn't accepted here, all I'm just saying is that you should just calm down, get a drink, and enjoy your time.
Because in truth, we wouldn't really know who would win if they were to be pitted against each other. I was only also just pointing out that just because artists draw a Yuugi vs Meiling pics does not necessarily mean that Yuugi is "getting weaker and weaker". It's just that many fans (including me) would think that it will be a very badass battle between the two.

Potato's apparent thoughts towards Yuugi-v-Meiling:

- Meiling is a lower-class Youkai, can legally go all-out in a danmaku battle yet only qualify as Stage 3 midboss & boss, and is likely only narrowly above the likes of the members of Team 9 in his personal powerlevels.
- Yuugi is a top-class Deva of the Mountain, can playfully be a Stage 3 midboss & boss using one hand while balancing a full sake dish in the other, and she's almost certainly among the top 5 in said personal powerlevels (I'm guessing 2nd or 3rd unless he somehow thinks she's stronger than Yukari). Furthermore, Yuugi is most likely his waifu considering that many of his other comments on this site involve her.
- Due to their sheer differences in strength Meiling cannot harm Yuugi in any way, and Yuugi will defeat if not kill Meiling in a single blow. It's not much different than a mere human trying to fight a Super Saiyan.

post #619768 and post #677165 show he's been like this before, so it's pretty apparent that he disapproves of Yuugi-v-Meiling images (speaking of which you managed to miss post #617437, the first of these on Danbooru). It always gets under his skin, no matter when or where it shows up.
