It's hebrew but its lack of vowels makes its content difficult to decipher.

How do you even know it lacks vowels...?

Fun fact: the Hebrew alphabet is an abjad, meaning that written vowels (which, in the language proper, are used to indicate inflected and derived forms) are largely optional. The original text of the Hebrew Bible was without the vowel markings used in Modern Hebrew today, and by all indications, remained that way for several centuries.

Because the hebrew alphabet doesn't have them originally? Vowels marks would be symbols over or under the characters.

Considering Shinki is heavily based on Lucifer, it kinda makes sense the main language of Makai is the original language the Old Testament was written in.

If that's the case, kudos to Gensoukoumuten for doing his research. Nothing less from this great artist, amirite?

Aye, and here I was ready to assume the great Gensoukoumuten used hebrew just because they looked kinda like glyphs, and was otherwise just gibberish.

I wish the Hebrew is translated, too. Even if I have to learn Hebrew myself!!

All Hebrew text in this image was haphazardly taken from a Wikipedia article, detailing Laparoscopic surgery; Not something awfully interesting to add as a TL note.

    Some tidbits:

    • The letter ordering is reversed - that is, positioned left-to-right, when it should be right-to-left.
    • Example: .gniredro rettel desrever a of elpmaxe nA
    • Near the end of the rightmost body of text, you can see [הכירע], which should be [עריכה], or [Edit]. Hooray for Wikipedia!
    • The bold line at the top left is reversed AND upside down, and is the same line as in the beginning of the body of text on the right.
    • Similarly for the bottom part, It's reusing the last lines from the right side.
    • In case you want to lookup each line on the Wiki page, search the group of words below, aligned for each starting line on the right-side text:

    נמנעת פגיעה
    אז, מוחדרות מחטים
    כריתת האבר
    במקרה של
    הגז המוחדר לחלל
