Just now I noticed how the rowdy youkai are from an "A" gang. Given Gensoukoumuten's excellent taste for picking his cameos, I now think this is actually the A-Team in Makai.

i guess she's more into the R&D part, and less on the Hands-On part.

well, she was in Maki to give a lecture on a new medical procedure she pioneered, though she could just be generalized sciences in her study, she's got seven doctorates one of them could be of medical science.

True enough. But I get the feeling Patchy's always been more of a theorist instead of hands-on, same as Lord Enki. She might have a doctorate in medical science, but it sure as Makai doesn't seem like she got it through hands-on experience.

Either that or she's familiar with corpses and the dissection of them, but not someone hovering on Komachi's door, screaming in pain and praying not to die. Not unusual for someone in the profession.
