Rather than disbelieving you, I think people were simply confused. If someone didn’t read your comment on the parent post, they completely missed out on how it’s a historically accurate garment, see-through clothes and all. When they read your more recent comment about the uncensored version being more historically accurate, they’d have no idea what you were referring to.
