Darkness is infinitely better than the first series and this switch from a generic fanservice-ridden romantic comedy into a borderline hentai series with an actual plot is the best thing that could have happened to it.
And Lala's been beaten to death anyways, switching the main characters around for the second season was one of the smartest moves I can recall seeing.
Because Hentai isnt allowed to have story m'kay.....seriously, I read some damn good Hentai manga with stories that actually made me care about the characters. I say manga because well, Visual novels and Dating sims probably shouldnt count.

I don't see why it should be any less your favorite manga with this shift. They're dropping the neverending cocktease for actual canon events. If you've been reading TLR only for the plot and the characters I don't understand how you managed to avoid ragequitting considering absolutely nothing happened in the whole series until Darkness.
So what brought this about? Is there some actual loving going on or is it just a bullshit excuse like possession or "S-she was poisoned and I needed to suck it out!"
