If this is apparently AI-generated (and not AI-assisted or human errors being mixed in), it would seem weird and inconsistent if the rest of their stuff wasn't also AI-generated - so that's a bit worrying as precedent for the rest of their stuff, since I quite like some of it.

It's a bit hard to offer up a defense without having any process content, but I personally think it might be a bit of a stretch to call it fully AI-generated. At the very most it could possibly be traced or just be amateurish mistakes in speed painting. But maybe it is, I don't know - the signs aren't too immediate to me.

It'd be sad to have been tripped into uploading another AI-generated picture due to lack of disclosure on the artist's part if true. o7 to my zero-AI streak.

Holy justification essay batman. You just sometimes can't tell the difference between AI and drawn stuff, essentially everyone who has unres has accidentally uploaded AI at one point or another, it's not a crime.

Weird of you to frame it that way for something I posted a month ago. The problem isn't that I may or may not have accidentally uploaded this and the judgement may or may not be correct - it's the precedent it sets for the rest of the artist's content (since the flag suggests it's fully generated) and that possible lack of disclosure if true led to me being unable to avoid them. I simply stopped uploading their content for a while now except maybe a bleeding one off here and there.

I only mentioned that it would be unfortunate if this set off a chain reaction leading to finding out they fully generate since they have decent posts under their artist tag and that it's not easy to defend them due to lack of making-ofs. But leave it to Danbooru commenters to revive the corpse of someone's passing thoughts on a status:deleted post from a while ago as if they're still relevant and haven't been moved on from already.
