Honestly, that seems like a pretty reasonable question if you're running around causing trouble with the specific intention of provoking a reaction. Even if you don't want people to beat you up, it makes sense to expect.

Its called context. Tenshi was acting perfectly normal considering every other character in the series ends up getting beaten up for causing an incident.

Speaking of Bomber Grape and Tenshi's masochism does anyone remember the scene where she first appeared in that manga? You know...the one where she put a cigarette out by rubbing it into her vagina while having a "I'm bored as hell" look on her face than anything else as she is waiting for something to happen. Yeah...that's a new way of looking at things. Instead of someone wanting to be beaten to a pulp think of her as some kind of bad ass action girl who loves to get into fights.

Maybe she's got viking ancestry? Paradise to a viking basically involved a lots of endless fights, so maybe she ended up in the wrong paradise (or, alternatively, is living in her own personal hell).
