    (x^2)+(6*x)+9=x+3
    (x^2)+(5*x)+6=0
    d=25-(4*6)=1
    x[1]=((-5)+1)/2=-3
    x[2]=((-5)-1)/2=-2

    ha! i`m genius^^

    or, you could, you know, factor it

    x^2 + 6x + 9 = x + 3
    x^2 + 5x + 6 = 0
    (x + 2)(x + 3) = 0
    x = -2 or x = -3

    Factoring feels like cheating at times...

    x = (-b ± √(b2 -4ac))/(2ab)

    Don't use him for reference, kids; that's wrong.

    x = (−b ± √(b² − 4ac))∕(2a)

    Easier:
    x^2+6x+9=x+3
    (x+3)^2=x+3
    x+3=1
    x=-2
