グリフォンという幻獣が、かつて世界を闊歩していた。
人や馬を常食する、何とも凶暴な獣だったという。
そして、そのグリフォンが雌馬と番うとヒポグリフが
誕生するのだと言われている。
……餌と番う動物は存在しない。
だから、このヒポグリフは本来有り得ぬ魔獣である
……のだが。
「じゃ、どうしてキミはボクの乗物なのさ？」
「クェー」
（意訳：吾思う故に吾あり。幻想もまた真実）
「分かんないかー、そうだよねー、だよねー。
　ボクも分かんないもんねー」
「クァー」
（意訳：おお、世界は幻想に満ちている！）
「大丈夫大丈夫、ボクはキミのこと大好きだからねー！　ほらほら、ぎゅーってしてあげるから！」
「グェー」
（意訳：話を聞いて下さい）

The mythical beast called the griffin once roamed this world.
Devouring both man and horse, rumor said there was no beast more brutal.
The spawn of such a brutal beast and a mare is called a Hippogriff.
...An animal that mates with its prey doesn't exist.
That's why a hippogriff is essentially an impossible magical beast.
...Or so they say.
"Then, then why are you my steed?"
