This is not Deviantart, if we allow such work here (albeit this pic is not bad), it will only promote other Deviantart users to post their work here, and you know how horrible most pics are on that site.

It's highly discouraged, plain and simple. Due to the nature of this site, posting your work here looks like an advertisement for yourself or an attempt to get more hits on your site.
The watermarks on all of this guy's images are ugly. If he wanted people to respect him and his art in any way at all on here he should have had the sense to at least drop the dumb watermarks.
Also constantly uploading his own stuff on here is pretty damn low. It's simple, get popular then get your stuff uploaded on to here by your fans.
The quality of these images he's uploaded ain't half bad so getting people that like it enough to upload it here shouldn't be too much of a problem. I just hope for the uploader's sake that his reputation hasn't been completely tarnished by his recent activity.

And I think the reason people do this is because they want to get their art onto the site, but doing so through leaving it on another one first and waiting for an uploader from here to see it would take ages. Most of the uploaders, I assume, are using pixiv or other artists' sites that people like this guy probably wouldn't know how to access.
Of course I could be wrong and he's just a selfish prick. Who knows.

Selfish prick? Man, I don't find it fair, I'm sharing my works with all of you, I checked the standards of quality and I found my works are on a medium level, not the bests but by far not the worst. But ok, I won't upload anymore, easier for me.
