Correct me if I'm wrong, But arent all those red circles supposed to be were error's are? I know my teacher does that, not sure if red circles are good or bad in japan though.

In Japan X means wrong, O means right.

E.g.
1 + 1 = 2 O
1 + 1 = 3 X

Amusingly, a check mark in Japan also means something is wrong. So getting tons of check marks means you've just failed the test.
