That's what she has canonlly... She CAN read minds and she has a third eye in the actual Touhou Franchise...

S1eth's talking about that this comic is based closer to reality (note the designs to any characters that normally have animal appendages or wings, for example), so special powers would be ignored or severely limited.

In other words, Satori shouldn't be able to read minds or do so in a limited manner, though you could sidestep it by saying that's she's really good at reading body language.

Remi isn't that hard to read to begin with.

I'd say Satori can "read minds" in the same vein that regular people can "read minds". Some people are REALLY REALLY observant of tell signs and body language and also are in the know of other's personalities.

Satori's mental checkless:
Remilia Scarlet - Tsundere, always means the opposite what she says, not a bad person.

I am also reminded of a Mahjong doujin with Yuyuko and Youmu vs Reimu and Marisa. Yuyuko was so good at it, it was like she was reading marisa's and Reimu's mind by always knowing what was in their hands. But we all know Yuyuko has no mind reading abilities. Yuyuko just observed all of Reimu's and Marisa's odd habits because everyone has tell signs. It doesnt matter who you are. Thats why alot of poker players try to wear sunglasses for 1 thing.

As for the third eye, it's probably some kind of pendant or amulet or something along those lines, not actually part of her. <.<
