Only if the eggs are fertilized. Eggs that are sold for consumption are unfertilized, they lack an embryo that can develop into a bird. Eat all you want, you're not killing anyone.

Hoho, actually....ok so its a cultural thing. But (thai/laos) markets sell fertilized chicken eggs for consumption. I've seen my grandma and mom eat them growing up.....*shivers*. it freaked me the hell out once I noticed what they were eating.

You guys are wimps. I eat balut regularly, and they're pretty tasty. Crack the egg a little, suck out the juice, eat the yellow yolk thing, and then finish off the fetus.
