「この絵は1989年、講談社の季刊誌『ヤングマガジン海賊版』に連載が始まった時の1ページ目の絵です。
当時、単行本の冒頭シーンは雑誌掲載作品に含まれていませんでした。1冊前の雑誌に掲載された予告カット以外だと、読者諸氏が初めて目にした『攻殻機動隊』の絵ということになります。
この絵から35年が経過し、当時よりも知らず識らずのうちにメディアやSNSで誰かの思惑に誘導されたり、真偽不確かな情報や印象偏向誘導で一喜一憂、怒りを誰かにぶつけたり、「人形使いに踊らされて」いる機会も増えているかと思います。

Masamune - Revealing the Secrets Behind His Art Across Time

“This is the first page of Kodansha's “Young Magazine Kaizokuban” issueed in 1989, when Ghost In the Shell was first published in the magazine. Back then, the first scene of the manga was excluded from the magazine's version, and only a sneak-peek preview appeared in the previous issue of the magazine. So, this actually became the very first Ghost in the Shell artwork that the readers had ever seen.
Thirty-five years have passed since then, and what I have witnessed is people being manipulated by certain opinions through media and social platforms more than ever. They are misled by uncertain information and biased agendas, causing an emotional roller coaster of joy, sorrow, and misplaced anger, which increasingly makes people an easy target to be played by the 'puppet masters.
So, my question to you is: Are you safely traversing the web with your defenses raised, shielding yourself from such manipulation?”
